Landscaping Tips
- When watering your lawn, make sure to soak the soil deeply. The grass drinks the water through the soil and by soaking the soil deeply, you will find that you won’t have to water as often.
- A really simple way to tell if your grass needs water is by walking across your lawn. If you see your footprints then it is time to water.
Fruit and Vegetable Tips
- It’s time to harvest some of those delicious, mouthwatering vegetables you have planted. Vegetables like carrots, green beans, potatoes, tomatoes and summer squash.
- According to The Old Farmers’ Almanac, keep planting beans and sweet corn. This way you will have a continuous harvest.
Perennial/Annual Tips
- According to Better Homes and Gardens, the secret to continuous beautiful flowers is deadheading. Deadheading is removing the dead blooms from perennial, annuals and roses.
- If your flowers are growing beautifully, but are so tall they are tend to fall over, a great tips is to cut the flowers back by a third before the first week of the month is over.
General Gardening Tips
- One of the best things you can do for your trees, shrubs, flowers and herbs is to install aeration tubes. Aeration tubes are a direct to root watering system.
